About Us

Food scientists, AI engineers, and business builders on a mission to eliminate failed product launches.

Our Story

Michele, a Ph.D. in AI and computer vision from Wageningen University, developed software to measure eating behavior from video—tracking bites and chews, under Guido Camps’ supervision.

Partnering with Wageningen Impact Catalyst, the technology evolved to tackle a major industry problem: 85% of food product launches fail, costing billions.

In fall 2025, Jakob and Simbiat joined the team, bringing Eatpol to market as a consumer testing service that delivers real-world insights straight from people’s kitchens.

Based in Wageningen, the Netherlands, Eatpol helps leading food brands understand their consumers better and launch products people love.
